General Care Guidelines

Protect from Heat & Moisture:  Always use coasters, placemats, heat pads, and trivets. Wipe spills immediately to prevent stains, swelling, or surface damage.
Use Gentle Cleaners Only:  Never use harsh chemicals, acids, ammonia-based cleaners, alcohol, or abrasive powders. Always choose cleaners appropriate for the specific material.
Maintain Stable Indoor Conditions:  Extreme temperature or humidity fluctuations can affect wood, veneers, stone, and metal finishes.

Solid Wood Care

Climate Sensitivity: Wood is natural and reacts to humidity. Maintain a moderate indoor climate to reduce cracking or expansion.
Cleaning:  Dust regularly. Wipe with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately.
Stain & Water Protection: Do not leave wet items, planters, or damp cloths on wood surfaces.
Finish Maintenance:

• Walnut-polished items: Wipe dry; optionally, use a wood conditioner yearly.
• Black matte-polished items: Clean with a dry cloth only; avoid wax or oil.
• Waxed surfaces: Re-wax every 6-12 months.

Wood Veneer & MDF Care

Avoid Excess Moisture: Veneer and MDF can swell if exposed to water. Clean only with a lightly damp cloth and dry immediately.
Prevent Scratches: Always use mats, runners, or coasters to protect surfaces.
Cleaning: Use mild soap solution or wood-safe cleaner (low moisture). No abrasive pads or polishing creams.

Marble, Travertine & Stone Care

Daily Care: Wipe with pH-neutral cleaner or mild soap and water.
Avoid Acids: Vinegar, lemon, wine, or acidic cleaners can etch natural stone.
Seal When Required: Stone surfaces benefit from periodic sealing (every 8-12 months, depending on usage).
Heat Protection: Always use heat pads- marble and stone can develop thermal shock or dull spots.
Avoid Abrasion: Use a soft cloth only; avoid scrubbers and scouring pads.

Quartz Surface Care

Simple Cleaning: Warm water + mild soap. No bleach, acids, or heavy-duty chemicals.
Scratch Protection: Quartz is resistant but not scratch-proof. Avoid dragging items.

Metal Care

Powder-Coated Iron:

Lifting Over Dragging: Always lift furniture when relocating. Dragging may loosen joints or scratch floors.
